New website launch

Same Gamewagon — new website

You might have noticed things have changed with the Gamewagon website. Please don’t be alarmed — we’re still the same Gamewagon: the same team, the same values, and the same fun gaming parties.

We originally planned a small “nip-and-tuck”, but it quickly became a full rebuild. The site has been rebuilt from the ground up.

Why we rebuilt it

The old website wasn’t doing its job anymore. It was stuck in the last decade, slow, hard to update, light on the information customers actually need, and not optimised for mobile visitors.

Over 80% of our traffic comes from mobile phones, so we rebuilt everything with mobile-first design in mind.

What’s changed

We took a critical look at the content and asked: “What do our customers need to know?” That’s why we now include much more useful detail on how our gaming bus parties work.

Since we recently launched our DangerZoneVR VR Party at Home service, we’ve expanded that page too — including how it works and the games we run.

Over the years we’ve hosted dozens of weddings, over 240 corporate fun days, and over 250 school events — so it’s only right we show that off a bit more.

We’ve also added a more comprehensive FAQ page and a new gallery, including a large picture wall of photos taken and posted by previous customers.

Performance & privacy

Finally, the website has been tested and refined so it loads exceptionally quickly. We’ve also made sure the site is GDPR compliant, with proper privacy controls in place.

What’s next

This rebuild has also given us a solid foundation to build on, with plans for a proper online booking system, our new messaging platform, and better integration with our other systems.

We hope you like the new site! If you have any feedback, please get in touch.
